OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our client in the Publishing Industry seeks to hire for the role of Operations Manager.
Job Requirements:
- B.Sc. / HND in any related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in operations management or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership and strategic planning in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and quality assurance standards.
Key responsibilities includes:
- Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) to formulate and execute strategies aimed at fostering the profitable growth and smooth operation of the company.
- Develop strategic operational plans aligned with the long-term objectives set by the Board of Directors.
- Maintain transparent communication with the MD to ensure awareness of daily operations and progress.
- Implement robust operational planning and quality assurance protocols to uphold standards.
- Establish and oversee financial planning and control mechanisms.
- Assume full responsibility to the MD for all operational aspects of the company.
- Spearhead research and development initiatives to keep the company innovative and competitive.
- Formulate and execute effective marketing and public relations strategies to expand the company’s reach in the market.
- Ensure clear understanding and ownership of operational objectives and performance standards by management and staff.
- Implement company policies and procedures effectively across all departments.
- Cultivate and lead a proficient management team.
- Uphold operational performance standards across the organization.
- Serve as the company’s representative to key customers and industry associations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics affecting the company’s operations.
- Provide guidance and leadership to achieve organizational objectives and strategic goals.
- Manage the management team to fulfill customer and stakeholder expectations.
