Key Requirements:

• HND/B.Sc.in Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 5 years in production management, preferably in the masterbatch or plastics industry.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of masterbatch production processes, equipment, and raw materials.
• Experience in process optimization and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and business goals.
• Ensure efficient use of raw materials, machinery, and workforce.
• Monitor daily production activities and address operational challenges promptly.
• Implement best practices to improve production efficiency and minimize waste.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure optimal machine settings and process parameters for high-quality output.
• Enforce strict adherence to product quality standards and specifications.
• Work with the Quality Control team to conduct product tests and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the engineering team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning efficiently.
• Supervise and guide production staff, fostering high performance and discipline.
• Provide training on standard operating procedures and safety measures.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Monitor raw material usage and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Work with procurement teams to source materials cost-effectively.
• Control production costs while ensuring quality and efficiency are maintained.
• Prepare and submit production reports, including efficiency, quality, and downtime analysis.
• Coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align production with business needs.
• Address and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner.
