Supply Chain Manager
Our client in the Retail Industry seeks to hire for the position of a Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements:
- HND//B.Sc. in any relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Experience in the FMCG, retail or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Plan and forecast inventory needs to ensure consistent stock levels.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
- Monitor and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement of all pharmacy products and supplies.
- Coordinate and oversee the distribution of products to ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize transportation and distribution routes to minimize costs.
- Manage warehousing and storage facilities to ensure proper handling and storage of products
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to pharmacy supply chain management.
- Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
