Our client in the Agro Industry is looking to fill the role of Senior Accountant.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN or ACCA certified.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including inventory management, cost accounting, and production variance analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Navision ) and advanced Excel skills.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for the manufacturing division.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement within the manufacturing process.
- Manage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and physical inventory counts.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing budgets and forecasts, providing insights into variances and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GAAP standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Continuously assess accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and finance, to support operational decision-making and drive business results.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and capital projects within the manufacturing division.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit findings related to manufacturing operations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff within the manufacturing division, fostering their professional development and growth.
