Our Client in the Insurance Industry is looking to hire for the role of asst. business manager
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years managerial work experience.
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Software skills such as MS Word and other accounting software.
- CIIN Certification is an added advantage.
- Preferably a Male.
- Support the Business Manager in developing and implementing business strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
- Assist in managing a team of insurance agents, underwriters, and support staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate sales and marketing activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and promotional events.
- Assist in underwriting processes, including reviewing applications, assessing risks, and issuing policies in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to sales, underwriting, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across the organization.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs and requirements.evelop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve the bank’s financial objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of innovative products and services tailored to the needs of micro-entrepreneurs and individuals in underserved areas.
- Identify opportunities to expand the bank’s market presence and enhance its competitive position in the microfinance industry.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the microfinance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulators, community organizations, and business partners.
- Monitor market trends and assess opportunities for growth, expansion, and diversification of the bank’s business operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing microfinance operations.
- Manage risk within the microfinance bank, including credit risk, operational risk, and compliance risk.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the bank’s financial performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, board of directors, and regulatory authorities.
