Our client in the Media and Communications Industry seeks to hire for the role of Events Manager.
Job Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event planning or management.
- Knowledge of budget management and financial planning.
- Creativity and the ability to design unique and memorable events.
- Professional Certification is an added advantage.
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial concept to execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
- Secure and manage vendors such as caterers, venues, entertainers, and equipment rentals.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Supervise event staff and volunteers, delegating tasks and ensuring everyone is working towards the event’s success.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the planning and execution phases, finding creative solutions to ensure a seamless event.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
