Our client, a production company seeks to hire for the role of a CO2 Plant Operator.
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Sciences or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Safe operation and maintenance of a liquid CO2 (carbon dioxide) plant and ensure the smooth running of the plant during the production of liquid co2
- Initiating plant start-up sequence and hourly check of co2 purity with the use of co2 burette
- Monitor all the various processes of liquid co2 production.
- Charging of ammonia (nh3) into the co2 condenser, refrigerant oil injection and, record plant production parameters.
- Maintenance of POV(pneumatic operating valves) and co2 scrubber pump.
- Pressurization of co2 plant.
- Cleaning of filters, and change of oil for refrigerant compressors.
- Monitor/make operating adjustments to process for optimized efficiency
