Our client a production company seeks to hire for the role of a WTP Operator.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in WTP.
- Ability to understand mechanical problems and equipment and use common hand tools and other related equipment.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Monitoring of WTP operating parameters, In process Quality parameters of wastewater, process water and chemical consumption on a shift basis.
- Verify raw materials availability related to WTP Operation (like Dosing chemicals etc…), Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipment for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on the production plan and take corrective actions as required.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirements to achieve budget plan and supervise all aspects of the WTP and effectively provide direction to lower-level plant operators.
- Ensure WTP is operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner, and in compliance with the Pollution control board norms.
- Administer treatment plants and perform operational adjustments for various residuals and hardness.
