Our client, a production company seeks to hire for the role of a Decanter Operator.
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge and awareness of proper lifting techniques, chemicals used for CIP and proper PPI while using them, augers and how to maintain covers and guards and lock-out or tag-out procedures.
- Operate Decanter to ensure the smooth running of the Decanter Machine, maintain the logbook of the Decanter and perform preventive maintenance of the Decanter.
- Check the safety devices of the Decanter, record its status and maintain the Spent Wash Level of the Feed Tank.
- Proper operation of the decanter, finisher and pasteurizer processes both on the delivery side of this equipment as well as the waste removal process.
- Perform critical valve changes to send the product to the correct vessels.
