Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of Shift Engineer.
Requirements:
- BSc or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience in distillery/ sugar/ power plant.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Cogen is operated in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, and in compliance with the air permit.
- Supervise all aspects of the Cogen operations during assigned shifts and effectively provide direction to lower-level plant operators.
- Prepare breakdowns and downtimes, to identify the root cause and implement the CAPA to avoid the recurrence.
- Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
- Raise the PR for Spares and follow-up with stores department and address deviation and change control effectively, working with cross-functional team
- Perform and evaluate water analysis tests and the proper treatment of boiler wate
.
