Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of WTP & ETP in Charge.
Requirements:
- BSc or Masters degree in Environmental Chemistry or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in the distillery/ sugar/ pharmaceuticals industry.
- Experience in water and wastewater management.
- Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the WTP and ETP plants.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Verify raw materials (like nutrients and chemicals etc…) availability, Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipments for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required
- Supervise all aspects of water and wastewater management and effectively provide direction to lower-level plant operators.
- Ensure WTP and ETP are operated in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, and in compliance with the Pollution control board norms.
- Ensure that all Standard Operating procedures are followed and compliance maintained as per requirements.
- Liaise with External agencies like State and Central Pollution Control Board.
