Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of Mechanical-in-Charge. Requirements:

• BSc or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Distillery/ Sugar /Manufacturing Industries.
• Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering-related deviation and CAPAs and liaise with an external agency like boiler, or co2 with respect to engineering.
• Maintenance of critical spares and safety stock.
• Supervise work execution on site and develop procedures and instructions for either maintenance, shutdown, or project to ensure compliance with safety, specification, standards, and procedures in order to achieve the highest quality of the work.
• Monitor and maintain records for scheduled, preventive, and breakdown Mechanical maintenance; support new projects as and when required from an engineering point of view.
• Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
