Our client, a manufacturing firm seeks to hire for the role of an ETP Operator.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in sciences or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in ETP.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Supervise all aspects of the ETP and effectively provide direction to lower-level plant operators.
- Ensure ETP is operated in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, and in compliance with the Pollution control board norms.
- Verify raw materials availability related to ETP Operation (like Dosing chemicals etc…), Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipment for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required.
- Monitoring of ETP operating parameters, In process Quality parameters of wastewater, process water, and chemical consumption on a shift basis.
- Operate and control the ETP process and its parameters using a PLC/DCS system.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirements to achieve the budget plan.
