Our client a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of an experienced Procurement Manager

Requirements:

• BSc or HND degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge and experience in data analytics and project management.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ROI analysis for critical items and comparison of values to provide necessary cost savings and economy of resources to the organization.
• Perform Procurement process optimization through constant suppliers evaluation and selection.
• Verify Pro formas/Quotations, following due process in obtaining requisite approvals for purchase orders and communicating order confirmation to the vendor
• Maintain proper correspondences with vendors (keeping all necessary stakeholders in the loop)
• Ensure that items are delivered OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) in order to meet material requisition through the proper Order tracking system
• Verify Debit Notes for any claim from Suppliers and obtain Credit Notes from Vendors within the appropriate time frame
• Responsible for proper documentation & filing of processes, orders, all relevant records, and registers
• Undertake regular visits to assess the competence and qualification of the vendors
• Ensure all Administrative issues which could impair OTIF are resolved within a reasonable timeframe and necessary escalation is made if delayed.
