Our client, a reputable IT company seeks to hire an experienced Pre Sales Senior-Network Security Engineer.
Job Summary
As a Presales Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting enterprise-grade systems against today’s advanced persistent threats.
Your day-to-day activities will involve the integration and support of network security tools and technologies within enterprises across Financial Services, Telecommunication, Manufacturing and Oil and Gas sectors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering.
- 5-7 years of work experience in Network Security.
- Pre-sales experience is essential
- Proficiency in Power Shell and Linux commands.
- Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Identity and Access
- Management, Cloud and Endpoint Security.
- Experience administering Cisco network infrastructure, including ASA, FMC, and Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Experience designing, implementing, and administering firewalls, ACLs, IPS/IDS, VPNs, load balancers, DNS and DHCP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including packet analysis to diagnose application and connectivity issues.
- Advanced knowledge of WAN, LAN and WLAN networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNP Security, CCSA, CCSE, NSE 4 and AWS Cloud Architect will be desired.
- Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Partner with sales representatives, partners, and prospects to understand their specific technical requirements and business needs to effectively align our offering to address their individual challenges – as well as provide targeted technical advice and guidance throughout the process.
- Create and deliver customized product demonstrations for prospects, customers, and partners both in-person and remotely.
- Develop a strong understanding of our sales, onboarding, and product delivery processes, leveraging resources in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, and Services to ensure customer success.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Team to deliver customer feedback that will inform future product requirements and enhancements.
- Proactively engage with fellow team members in ongoing knowledge sharing and subject- matter growth.
- Participate in webinars and industry events to demonstrate the value of our platform.
- Assist in the completion of RFPs and RFIs.
- Success in leveraging both traditional best practices, such as IT service management practices based on ITIL, as well as DevOps that are optimized for agility
- Response to RFP/RFQs within a stipulated time frame.
- Design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of next-generation firewalls and
- Network Access controls such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Checkpoint.
- Working with the wider security team reporting and investigating network issues.
- Review, plan and implement changes to networking systems and services.
- Identify gaps and opportunities as part of continuous improvement to ensure high standards of security, resilience, and performance.
- Prepare and deliver risk assessment reports including vulnerability analysis, technical impact, and recommendations for remediation to C-level executives.
- Manage the change management process during security upgrades and migrations.
- Provide L1 and L2 support for network and endpoint security tools and technologies.
- Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant stakeholders within the organization.
