Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of Lab Chemist. Requirement:

• BSc / Masters Degree in sciences
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Distillery/Sugar industry.
• Knowledge in microbiology and chemistry and experience in sampling and testing.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory administrative duties by receiving samples from customers as needed, calculating and recording analytical results in the appropriate log book, data entry in the System, and documenting QA/QC requirements.
• Perform analytical tests in the laboratory as assigned by the Shift in charge/Production Head and immediately report any problems with tests, equipment, or results to the Shift in-charge /Production Head
• Verify Analytical reagent availability required for Testing, Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipments for Hygiene practices, and manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required.
• Update, revise, and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents.
• Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOPs, execution of Protocol, and collecting the data for preparing the Reports.
• Ensure that quality control objectives and standards are followed; standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required.
