Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire a Cassava Milling Operator
Requirements:
- Bachelor / Master’s Degree in sciences or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 Years of experience as a Cassava Milling Operator in a Distillery.
- Supervise routine process activity and follow-up on Cassava milling process achieved as per targeted daily, weekly and monthly plan.
- Ensure that quality control objectives and standards are followed.
- Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOPs, execution of Protocol, collecting the data for preparing the Report, and ensuring GMP practices are followed as per guidelines requirements.
- Coordinate with the team to carry out new processes and process improvements in the fermentation process for continuous improvement.
- Verify raw materials availability related to milling Operation (like Cassava, enzymes, nutrients, chemicals, etc…), Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipment for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required.
- Monitoring of milling operating parameters, In process Quality parameters of the product, process water, and Steam consumption on a shift basis.
- Operate and control the milling process and its parameters using a PLC/DCS system.
- Process troubleshooting by following proper documentation practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Provide on the Job training to existing and new personnel as required.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required.
- Report back to the immediate superior of any issue that is identified and resolved effectively.
- Coordinate with the cross-functional department for materials and process requirements to achieve the budget plan.
- Participate in activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Safety
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Other Duties may be assigned as needed.
