Head of School (Nursery & Primary School)

Our client seeks to hire for the role of Head of School.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
• Professional Certificate in Education.
• Must be between ages 30 to 40.
• Must have a sense of ownership, be passionately driven and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with prospects (new parents) and follow up on them; Lagos State Inspectors/ officials; all marketers and give appropriate feedback.
• Develop a strategic plan for the School, in consultation with the School Executive, including the preparation of a staffing and resource plan.
• Staff recruitment matters and management.
• Manage and encourage an information flow to staff and students within the School regarding School developments.
• Contribute to the teaching programme of the school and encourage the development of outstanding teaching practices.
• Contribute to and ensure monitoring of classroom practice and the appraisal of the overall quality of teaching in the school at regular intervals.
• Maintain accessibility to parents and ensure that parents have timely access to appropriate information about the school.
• Attend to complaints from parents and staff, effectively and maturely handle them with love.
• To undertake Health and Safety policy-making and management throughout the school and ensure the maintenance of a high standard of care in the school environment, including the grounds, buildings, furniture, equipment and learning materials.
•  Encourage and develop positive cooperation between the school, home and the wider community.
