Our client, a manufacturing company seeks to hire for the role of Lab Chemist.
Requirement:
- BSc / Masters Degree in sciences
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Distillery/Sugar industry.
- Knowledge in microbiology and chemistry and experience in sampling and testing.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory administrative duties by receiving samples from customers as needed, calculating and recording analytical results in the appropriate log book, data entry in the System, and documenting QA/QC requirements.
- Perform analytical tests in the laboratory as assigned by the Shift in charge/Production Head and immediately report any problems with tests, equipment, or results to the Shift in-charge /Production Head
- Verify Analytical reagent availability required for Testing, Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipments for Hygiene practices, and manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required.
- Update, revise, and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents.
- Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOPs, execution of Protocol, and collecting the data for preparing the Reports.
- Ensure that quality control objectives and standards are followed; standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required.
